Brenda's Story
Life
Started working for LAUSD when I was 18, went from Regular Education to Special Education 8 1/2 years later. Have been working in Special Education for 15 years. I work as a One to One with a little girl at my new job site in Hollywood.
While traveling last year I met my husband Mike at the Dallas/Fort Worth Airport. I was on my way home, he was on his way to Japan to his Navel Assignment.

ecember, where we became officially engaged. We were married June 13, 2004.
In Aug. 2005 we had our first daughter, Katheryn. In June 2007 we had our second daughter, Elizabeth.
After Katheryn turned a year old, Michael was stationed at Lemoore NAS.
In Oct. 2005, my aunt who I was taking care of passed away. My Mom passed a month before Elizabeth was born.
So I gave up my job at LAUSD & am now a Stay At Home Mom, until I find a position at a school here in Cow, Cotton & Corn Country.
